My volcano is six years old and has been used daily. She's my table top unit and travels on every road trip i have made where there will be a hotel stay. I've dropp ed her three times and she's survived a direct splash of water. While the fan button may stick some days, she's still going strong! The quality is worth the investment. Mine paid for itself within 6 months by buying less medication. It's been pure profit since. I won't hesitate to replace my digital with another should she ever retire. more...

I use my volcano almost everyday. For me it is simply perfect. The price is high, but it is really related to the quality. I also own the plenty and the crafty which are great devices too. My crafty crashed just before the end of the warranty and S&B replaced it for free by a new crafty. A honest and serious manufacturer. I do recommend S&B's products. more...

I am a male, medical user, in my mid 40's. I uses fairly regularly I typically eat two "medicated" cookies, one-half at a time throughout the day. That keeps the nau sea and pain at bay for most of the day, when it gets really bad, it's hydromophone, an ice pack and the bed. That happens 3 times a week, minimum. I prefer not to smoke due to being so susceptible to pneumonia and other lung infections. That said I usually manage low back pain, right leg numbness, deep aching pain and "restless leg syndrome" (what ever the hell that is) at night as well as Chronic Cluster Headaches, so I really do tend to uses edibles like 98% of the time. As far as the Volcano goes, I've tried to get into using vapes before and really didn't care for it all that much. But the Volcano, forget a bout it. Perfectly smooth, hard hittin, not on the throat but the effects on the mind and body, mercy. I read up and decided to go with a temp of 378 F as my initial vape temp. This was my first time using the Volcano but I looked at a ton of YouTube.com videos and read the instructions a gazillion times. My first load was only filling the herb chamber maybe 1/3 full and I got 3 fully inflated bags out of it. I was honestly done at 1 1/2 bags but too much of a good thing is a great thing, at least it is in this instance. Anyway, we have all read/heard that a good vape makes you use less herb and as expensive as it is, frugality is a requirement. Well, after my first use of the Volcano, I can truly vouch for that. I used what was barely even able to be used in a glass one-hitter bowl without it falling through the hole. Let me tell you, it got me wonderfully numb and the body high was remarkable AS was the mind effects. Typically I get 5 ounces of top shelf herb and reserve four for cooking and one for smoke. Now that ounce reserved for smoking would typically last me a month plus a week or so. That was using a good, high quality water pipe. Now look, I've tried other vapes PAX, and three of four others that I cant remember, but I just wasn't feelin it. They were too much of a pain or the battery would be used up too quick or the herb was too dry or moist, it was always something... With the Volcano, that same ounce will last easily 3 months or better. I may even reserve two for vaping and dispose of my water pipe all together. Its truly so much easier on my throat and the smell does not get into everything like smoking does. I mean, look it still smells but only like 1/8th of what it normally does. So there you have it. I am just a regular dude with no affiliation to anyone but me and my amazing wife. I give you my free and unbiased opinion of the Volcano Digital Vape. Conclusion: I really like it, it's effective, efficient, does not smell up the place, really stretches your herb, yea its expensive but it will pay for itself in the first six months as often as I smoke/ingest/vape. It's a great centerpiece for friends to gather and chill around and talk for hours. If you have the disposable income then I say go for it. if not, the next best thing is to make butter and then make cookies using your cannabutter. It may take a while to kick in (1 1/2 hours) but it sure lasts a while 4+ hours often as long as 6 hours. Me, I eat half of my cookie and then use the Volcano, (2 bags) by the time the vape effects have worn off, the cookie is kicking in, perfect timing actually. May God's blessings and His favor be upon each of your lives and families throughout this New Year! Pat more...

I have had my Volcano digit for 3 years now. It's far and away the best investment I have made from a vaporizing standpoint. I own the Mighty as well so I never have to be without my prized vapes. Storz and Bickel makes connoisseur grade products. more...

Originally bought a Digit with Solid Valve in 2008. Has gone strong with no signs of loss in performance and I expect it to continue working for years to come. The reason this vaporizer is the best, is mainly because the temperature does not fluctuate more than 1C during filling. This makes the experience very consistent. The vaporizer seems expensive, but once you realize it extends use of your material anywhere from 2-4 times vs. burning, you quickly recoup your costs. I recommend XL bags. more...

- Price - If you're hesitating because of the price, it is absolutely worth it. - General Reliability - I bought a used Digit in 2012 and it's functioned correct ly the whole time. This is 3+ years old, with regular use, and hasn't changed since my first use. - Results - There's never been an issue with maintaining a particular temperature. The hottest temperature 446ºF, seems to be sufficient. Basically, it just works. I'd say this would meet or surpass the needs and expectations of any rational person. Rate of airflow seems sufficient. - Hardware Durability - My version could be slightly lighter and the bottom ring is a bit sharp if you hold it wrong; but, those are very minor concerns and this is easy to travel around with it in a book bag along with its bags for padding or something like that. It's durable for sure. I'm pretty sure mine, at some point when I wasn't around, got knocked off by a large dog (part wolf actually), and the only damage is cosmetic. So, as much as you do not want to drop this, it's built well enough to possibly withstand a drop. Also, its shape makes it less likely to be pushed over. - Design - It's neutral colors so it isn't likely to clash with it's surroundings. I like the bag system, because the bags last a long time and aren't too expensive to replace. Also, although I recommend not waiting, the bags do allow you to pace yourself as needed. Obviously, the granular temperature control is pretty ideal. Also, although rarely needed, the auto-shutoff feature is very good to have. - Just get it - The reason I'm posting this review is because it's deserved. There's no better option, so either get it now or get it later. I love how this, seemingly, hasn't changed after several years. It's pretty much perfect so there was no need. They could raise the price and everybody'd still get it. more...

Top notch product here. It took me years util I finally bought one and the only thing I regret is not getting one years ago. Its vapor that it produces far exceeds any other vape on the market under $600 and even the one in the higher range in my opinion still comes in a close 2nd in overall use. I have 2 friends that have used it once and are getting theirs in the next two weeks. Originally got the Solid valve set because that is what they had available at the shop I bought it at. I bought an easy valve at a later date and it became my go to choice more...
